Job summary

We’re recruiting a compassionate Night Healthcare Assistant (Enhanced) to join our night team at Rivermead View. In this role you will deliver person-centred care across the night, support the Night Coordinator and mentor colleagues to maintain high standards of care.

You’ll take on enhanced duties including medication administration following training, promoting safe, dignified care and supporting new starters. Training and ongoing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of the Care Certificate.
• Experience working in a care setting.
• Experience supporting people with dementia or complex care needs would be desirable.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Medication training/competency or willingness to complete training.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred personal care, including continence care and repositioning.
• Carry out welfare checks and night-time observations.
• Respond to call bells promptly and compassionately.
• Provide comfort, reassurance and companionship throughout the night.
• Assist with medication administration where trained and competent.
