Job summary

Nova Training in Oldbury is seeking an English Tutor to deliver Functional Skills English and Maths up to Level 2 on a full-time basis. You will support learners to achieve their qualifications and help them reach their full potential within our provision.

The role requires planning individual learning, preparing lesson plans, and regular assessment of learners' work to meet company KPIs and personal targets. You will contribute to a positive learning environment within our training centres.

Qualifications

• Experience of delivering Functional Skills or Maths and English to Level 2.
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in 14-19 provision.
• Full Teaching Qualifications i.e. Cert Ed, C&G 7407, CTTLS, DTLLS.
• Passion & desire to teach.
• Willingness to undertake any relevant Teaching Qualifications necessary.

Responsibilities

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, (depending on experience & qualifications)

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Functional Skills Tutor.

As a Functional Skills Tutor you will be supporting students to achieve their functional skills qualifications in both English and Maths up to Level 2. We are looking for a Functional Skills Tutor who can motivate, engage and inspire our learners to achieve their full potential whilst on our programme.

Key Responsibilities
