Job summary

Flexzo Teach is seeking an English Tutor for primary to A-Level, offering flexible hours and the freedom to set your own rates. Tutor both in-person and online across KS1–KS5, with focus on literacy, writing, and textual analysis.

You should have QTS or equivalent coaching experience, strong English language and literature knowledge, and the ability to tailor lessons for primary and secondary students. Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS on update service preferred.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent tutoring/academic coaching experience across diverse age groups.
• Ability to deliver engaging primary literacy lessons and deep subject expertise in English Language and English Literature up to A-Level specifications (AQA, OCR, Edexcel).
• Experience tailoring teaching to primary and secondary/college students.
• Understanding of SPAG and phonics frameworks, as well as secondary and A-Level set texts, poetry anthologies, and comparative essay requirements.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• DBS update Service or willingness to obtain one for in-person sessions.
