• QTS or on track to achieve QTS.
• Degree in English or related subject.
• Strong subject knowledge in English language and literature.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to inspire, challenge and motivate students to achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons that inspire students and promote excellent progress.
• Assess, monitor and track student achievement, providing timely feedback to support learning.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports high standards of behaviour and achievement.
• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental improvement initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents/carers and wider school staff to maximise student success and wellbeing.
