Job summary

Prospero Teaching is assisting a network of SEN schools in Oldham in sourcing an ECT Teacher. The role is full-time, based in Oldham/Manchester area, with duties across KS1–KS3 as required by the school’s needs and the candidate’s specialism. You will be supported with mentoring and CPD opportunities.

The position offers a competitive pay rate (£750-£1,000 per week) and standard school hours; a nurturing environment with a collaborative team culture where your professional growth is valued.

Qualifications

• Motivated, reflective practitioner with a passion for teaching.
• Ability to plan and assess lessons effectively.
• Experience or exposure to the UK national curriculum is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons across KS1–KS3 (dependent on specialism).
• Plan and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum and school policies.
• Create a positive, stimulating classroom environment that supports all learners.
• Work closely with colleagues, parents and carers to ensure progression and well-being for all pupils.
