TeacherActive Limited. is working with a mainstream Secondary School in Wakefield seeking an English Teacher to cover day-to-day or long-term vacancies across KS3/KS4.

The role involves delivering engaging English lessons, maintaining strong classroom management and providing targeted GCSE and A Level support to boost student outcomes. The position offers competitive daily rates (£150-£190) and a supportive team of consultants available to assist with onboarding, CPD opportunities and referrals.

Qualifications

• QTS with an English specialism (ECTs welcome)
• Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school
• Experience teaching KS3 and KS4
• Strong knowledge of GCSE and A Level English

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Secondary School in Wakefield who are looking to appoint an English Teacher. The school provides a positive and supportive learning environment, encouraging students to develop their confidence, knowledge and enthusiasm for English.

The school is looking for an English Teacher to provide day-to-day or long-term cover, teaching students across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4. The successful English Teacher will deliver engaging English lessons, maintain strong classroom management and provide focused GCSE and A Level support to help students prepare for their assessments.

The successful English Teacher will have:

• QTS with an English specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching English within a UK secondary school
• Experience teaching English across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Strong knowledge of GCSE and A Level English
• Strong communication and organisational skills
