Job summary

TeacherActive Limited. is seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to inspire secondary students in Trafford from October on a long-term, full-time basis. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, monitor progress and maintain high teaching standards.

QTS with English specialization is required, with KS3/KS4 experience, excellent classroom management and strong communication. The role offers PAYE payroll and market-leading pay rates with ongoing CPD support.

Salary: £160 - £240 per day

Are you a qualified English Teacher with experience teaching across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with an Outstanding OFSTED-rated mainstream Secondary School in Trafford. The school provides a positive and ambitious learning environment, with high expectations for both staff and students.

The school is looking to take on an English Teacher from October on a long-term, full-time basis. The successful English Teacher will be expected to plan and deliver engaging English lessons, monitor student progress and maintain high standards of teaching and classroom management.

Responsibilities and Requirements

• QTS with an English specialism (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
• Experience teaching English within a secondary school
• Sound knowledge of the English curriculum across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Excellent classroom management
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
