Are you passionate about inspiring young people through the power of language, literature and storytelling?

We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated English Teachers to work within secondary schools across Bradford. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced teachers, ECTs, and English specialists looking to make a positive impact in the classroom.

The Role

As an English Teacher, you will play a key role in developing pupils' reading, writing and communication skills, helping to foster creativity, confidence and a lifelong love of literature.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Teaching English across KS3 and KS4

  • Planning and delivering engaging and inspiring lessons

  • Encouraging pupils to develop their reading, writing, speaking and analytical skills

  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Supporting pupils to achieve their full potential

  • Contributing to literacy initiatives, enrichment activities and intervention programmes where appropriate

  • Upholding safeguarding procedures and school expectations at all times

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

UK QTS or be currently completing teacher training

Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English Language and Literature

Excellent communication and classroom management skills

A professional, proactive and flexible approach

A genuine passion for education and supporting student success
