Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a respected mainstream secondary school in Kimberley, Nottinghamshire, seeking an English Teacher for a full-time, long-term contract starting November 2026. You will teach across KS3 and KS4, including GCSE preparation, and help students achieve strong results by delivering engaging lessons.

The successful candidate will have QTS with English (ECTs welcomed) and experience teaching English up to KS4.

The school is a well-respected secondary school with a community feel. The school is looking to take on an English Teacher on a full-time, long term contract starting this November 2026. The successful applicant will be working across both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, including exam preparation for GCSE's. The role will be paramount in helping students achieve excellent results in the subject, whilst following and implementing the schemes of learning.

The successful English Teacher will have:

• QTS with English specialism (ECTs are also welcomed)
• Experience teaching English up to Key Stage 4
