Job Title: English Teacher

Location: Kimberley

Start Date: November 2026

Salary: £174 to £240 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a well-known and well-respected mainstream secondary school based in Kimberley, Nottinghamshire. The school is a well-respected secondary school with a community feel. The school boasts fantastic facilities and offers opportunities both inside and outside of lessons to promote students engagement, to help them flourish personally and academically.

The school is looking to take on an English Teacher on a full-time, long term contract starting this November 2026. The successful applicant will be working across both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, including exam preparation for GCSE s. The role will be paramount in helping students achieve excellent results in the subject, whilst following and implementing the schemes of learning.

The successful English Teacher will have:

• QTS with English specialism (ECTs are also welcomed)
• Experience teaching English up to Key Stage 4
• Excellent classroom management
