Job summary

Veritas Education Recruitment is recruiting passionate English Teachers to work in secondary schools around Bury and surrounding areas. Roles include day-to-day, short-term and long-term assignments with immediate starts for both experienced teachers and ECTs.

Responsibilities include teaching English Language and Literature to KS3/KS4, planning engaging lessons, assessing progress and maintaining an inclusive learning environment. A DBS check and QTS are required or in place.

Qualifications

• Requires QTS or equivalent.
• Experience teaching English in secondary schools.
• Enhanced DBS via Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Legal right to work in the UK.

Veritas Education is currently recruiting passionate and dedicated English Teachers to work in a variety of secondary schools across Bury and the surrounding areas. We have a range of day-to-day, short-term and long-term assignments available, with immediate starts and roles to suit both experienced teachers and ECTs.

The Role:

• Teaching English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4


• Planning and delivering engaging lessons


• Assessing and monitoring student progress

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent


• Experience teaching English within secondary schools


• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills


• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
