Job summary

Comhairle nan Eilean Siar is seeking a Primary Teacher for Sgoil Uibhist a Tuath (8016) on a fixed-term contract until August 2027. The post is 35 hours per week with a salary of £46,380 to £57,450 per year, including a £2,997 Distant Islands Allowance.

The successful candidate must hold an appropriate degree/diploma and GTC Scotland Registration. PVG clearance is a requirement for this regulated role with Children.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Teaching assigned classes with preparation and marking.
• Developing the school curriculum.
• Assessing, recording and reporting pupil progress.

• Working in partnership with parents, staff and other professionals.
