Job summary
Gloucestershire College invites applications for a learning support role to help students succeed in English and maths through tailored activities, including classroom support, one-to-one and small group sessions, workshops and exam preparation.
You will work closely with lecturers and the Learning Support team to deliver personalised support for students with SEND, ensuring EHCP targets and exam access arrangements are effectively implemented.
Qualifications
- Experience supporting learners with SEND or barriers to learning.
- Ability to work with 16+ age range.
- Safeguarding training or willingness to complete training.
Responsibilities
- Support students to succeed in English and maths through tailored activities such as classroom support, one-to-one and small group sessions, workshops and exam preparation.
- Collaborate with lecturers and the Learning Support team to deliver personalised support for students with SEND and EHCP targets.
- Ensure exam access arrangements and agreed strategies are implemented.
- Monitor engagement and progress using College systems and contribute to reviews and CPD.
