Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a versatile English and Maths Tutor to provide tailored 1:1 tuition for a learner in Wirral. The role requires adaptability to support core skills development, build a positive relationship and make lessons engaging and accessible.

Experience in tutoring English and/or Maths, strong subject knowledge, and DBS status or willingness to obtain one are essential. Right to Work in the UK and two professional references are required.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching or tutoring English and/or Maths.
• Strong knowledge of English and/or Maths.
• Experience working with children or young people.
• 1:1 tuition experience is desirable.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Patient and adaptable approach.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Two professional child-related references.
