In this role, you'll work closely with students who need extra help in English, delivering focused interventions to boost reading, writing, comprehension, and confidence.
Deliver 1:1 and small group English support sessions
Assist students with reading fluency, writing structure, and GCSE preparation
Collaborate with teaching staff to plan and adapt support strategies
Monitor progress and provide feedback to staff and parents
Promote a love of language and literacy across the school
Strong written and spoken English skills (English degree or A-level desirable)
Experience working with young people, ideally in a school or tutoring environment
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A patient and encouraging manner
