Job summary

M Group Water is seeking design and engineering professionals across the UK, from junior to principal levels, to help deliver essential water infrastructure. The role involves designing water networks, supervising projects end-to-end, and coordinating with clients and partners to ensure quality and compliance.

You will work on diverse schemes across the south of the UK, with opportunities for growth, training, and development in a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Designing and planning clean water and wastewater infrastructure, including initial outlines and detailed plans and design deliverables for projects like water networks and sewerage systems, flood alleviation and blue/green solutions.
• Overseeing the design of projects from start to finish through internal and client gateway processes, including support on budgeting, scheduling, and ensuring surveys and site investigations are completed to the required specifications and standards to aid your design decisions.
• Using software tools to analyse design options and showcase your creations, ensuring they meet both internal and external acceptance standards.
• Collaborating and communicating with various stakeholders, including our clients, supply chain, and communicating your technical information to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Mentoring junior members in becoming the future of water.

Help us develop and deliver essential water and wastewater infrastructure using your detailing expertise! This involves overseeing project requirements, producing design deliverables, conducting site visits, and ensuring design accuracy aligned with client specifications. You’ll also manage client and third‑party communications, enforcing compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards, and staying updated on industry best practices to drive project success and innovation.
