Job summary

pladis Global is seeking an Engineering Trainer to design and deliver high-quality engineering training, support recruitment and onboarding of site Engineering Apprentices, and guide their development throughout the programme.

You will maintain a comprehensive Training matrix, design train-the-trainer programmes, and lead bi-annual training days to ensure compliance and technical proficiency across the engineering function at our Willesden site.

Qualifications

• Experience with training-based programmes in engineering.
• Identifying skills gaps and providing solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with facilitating training needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality engineering training to staff and apprentices.
• Maintain the Training matrix covering engineering capabilities.
• Design and deliver train-the-trainer programmes.
• Lead bi-annual training days for compliance and engineering training.
• Create, amend, verify and maintain DSOPs for training areas.
• Conduct competency assessments and sign-off engineers/apprentices.
• Guide recruitment and onboarding of Engineering Apprentices.
• Create KPI dashboards to measure training effectiveness and completion rates.
• Provide regular reporting on training progress and competency development.
