Job summary

pladis is seeking an Engineering Trainer to deliver high-quality Engineering Training, support the recruitment and onboarding of site Engineering Apprentices, and guide their development throughout the programme. You will manage the training matrix, design train-the-trainer programs, and lead bi-annual training days to ensure compliance and technical competency.

Qualifications

• Experience with training-based programmes with the engineering field.
• Identifying skills gaps and providing solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with facilitating training-based needs.
• A background in engineering training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the comprehensive Training matrix covering all Engineering capability requirements.
• Design and deliver Train the trainer programmes to build internal capability.
• Facilitate bi-annual training days to deliver compliance and engineering training.
• Deliver high-quality technical training on PPMs, machine size changes, guard removal and refitting, lubrication procedures.
• Create, amend, verify and maintain DSOPs for all training areas, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
