Job summary

Loughborough College Group is seeking an experienced Engineering Trainer Assessor to join the apprenticeship team on a full-time, on-site basis in Loughborough. The role focuses on delivering and assessing engineering apprenticeships in college and in the workplace.

Candidates should have subject competency, an assessor qualification or be willing to progress, and at least Level 3 in the subject area, with experience developing learners’ knowledge, skills and behaviours.

Qualifications

• Competency in the subject area.
• An appropriate Assessor qualification (for example D32/D33/A1/TAQA, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards.
• A qualification at a minimum Level 3 in the subject area.
• Experience of working with individuals to develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours.

Responsibilities

• Carry out training and assessing duties for engineering apprentices and their employers in college and the workplace.
• Support in the growth of engineering apprenticeship provision.
