Flogas is powered by people who want to do energy right by customers in homes and businesses all across the country. From Drivers to Technicians, Customer Experience experts to Site Managers, Engineers to Electricians, we come together as a team of experts, to do more for our customers.

Reporting to the Avonmouth Training Academy Manager, the Engineering Trainer will be responsible for delivering training, producing training material and assessment both at Avonmouth and in the field, stock taking of Training academy stores and ensuring all calibrated equipment is in date.

How you’ll power our business as a Engineering Trainer.

At the heart of our Avonmouth Training Academy, you’ll play a key role in keeping our people sharp, safe, and ahead of the curve. Working closely with the Training Manager, you’ll help shape and deliver top-quality training that evolves with our industry standards, Flogas practices, and the ever-changing world of LPG. You’ll step up to lead when needed, lend your expertise to codes of practice and work instructions, and ensure our engineers-new and experienced, get the best possible guidance, both in the classroom and out in the field.

When you're not training, you'll be rolling up your sleeves alongside our team as a skilled T3 Engineer, taking on complex technical jobs, supporting colleagues, and helping us keep Britain running-one safe, efficient install at a time. Whether you're running a remote session, stepping in on standby, or training our forklift customers across the country, you’ll be the friendly face of Flogas professionalism and know-how.

Here at Flogas, we may have a fossil fuels background, but we’re working towards delivering 100% renewable energy to our customers by 2040. We’re already supporting our customers to reduce their carbon emissions, by helping them make the switch from oil to gas. We’re also developing our offering for technologies such as heat pumps and solar panels, beginning to help our customers reduce their energy consumption and evolving new bio-fuels and renewable gases. All of which means job security, and opportunities to get involved in exciting new initiatives. Join Flogas and help us do energy right for the future.

What we’ll need from you
  • Gas Safe ACS qualified, with the credentials to back up your expertise
  • A deep, hands-on knowledge of LPG engineering, backed by a solid grasp of industry codes, standards, and best practices
