Job summary

Müller UK & Ireland’s Severnside site is seeking a Site Services Engineering Technician to join the Facilities and Site Services team. The role covers boiler and effluent plant compliance and maintenance, supporting the process department with running and monitoring the plant, and overseeing contractor work.

You will also assist with minor CAPEX, maintain building fabric and plant rooms, and ensure safety across the site.

Qualifications

• Essential utilities/boiler/refrigeration/water systems experience (PSSR/LOLER)
• Experience in maintenance on manufacturing sites
• Manufacturing industry experience
• Mechanical/electrical bias for site services

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support troubleshooting on utilities plant
• Support site with corrective actions after audits or incidents
• Resolve breakdowns relating to utilities plant
• Be SME and provide RCA delivery and standard running conditions
• Carry out corrective maintenance and ensure outstanding work is completed
• Control contractors for utilities-related works

Site Services Engineering Technician

Severnside – GL10 2DG

Full time, permanent contract working 4 on 4 off 7AM – 7PM (days only)

We are currently recruiting for a Site Services Engineering Technician to join the Facilities and Site Services Department at our Severnside within our Muller Milk & Ingredients business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for boiler compliance and maintenance, effluent plant compliance and maintenance, including but not limited to supporting the process department with the running and monitoring of the plant. Contractor control and management of minor CAPEX. Maintenance of the building fabric and everything contained within the perimeter including plant rooms, compressors, switch gear etc.

Site Services Engineering Technician Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and provide support to trouble shooting on utilities plant
• Provide support to site to identify and carry out corrective actions following audits or incidents
• Resolve breakdowns relating to Utilities plant
• Required to be subject matter expert, Key support in RCA process delivery and standard running conditions
• Responsible for corrective maintenance, to ensure all outstanding work is completed
• Control of contractors for utilities related works
