Job summary

SERB Pharmaceuticals is seeking an Engineering Technician to join the Wales site. The role covers daily repair and maintenance of electrical and mechanical plant, adherence to safety practices, and calibration within the planned maintenance system.

You will contribute to a multi-skilled team and uphold high housekeeping and cost-conscious operations. Candidates should have hands-on experience in mechanical/electrical engineering, the ability to read electrical schematics, and familiarity with

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical/electrical engineering.
• Ability to understand electrical and control schematics.
• Fault finding and repair of PLC/computer driven plant.
• HVAC installation experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day repair and maintenance of electrical/mechanical plant.
• Report unsafe practices to Engineering manager.
• Maintain calibration regimes for planned maintenance.
• Share engineering knowledge with the team to move to a multi-skilled department.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards.
• Support PM system to meet production and project needs.
• Assist in minimising consumable costs using data from SCADA.
