Job summary

Hull College invites applications for a Technical Coach in Engineering to provide academic and technical training, supporting students in workshops, classrooms and projects to develop practical and academic skills. You will help learners achieve in their engineering programme and contribute to safeguarding and quality processes.

You will work with curriculum leaders and staff to drive continuous improvement in teaching, learning and assessment, prepare materials, supervise groups and monitor

Qualifications

DBS check required for regulated activity.
Level 2 maths and English qualifications.
Level 2 qualification in a relevant subject.
First aid at work or willingness to work towards.
Willingness to work towards Level 3 teaching qualification (e.g., PTLLS).

Responsibilities

Provide academic and technical training to students.
Prepare training materials, equipment and resources for student activities.
Deliver high quality learning experiences and assess student progress.
Supervise groups and facilitate employability and enrichment activities.
Ensure health and safety compliance in practical learning environments.
Maintain student records and support onboarding of new learners.

Maths and English (Level 2)

Subject qualification (Level 2)
