Job summary

National Skills Agency in Hull is seeking an Engineering Lecturer to inspire and develop the next generation of engineers. The role focuses on delivering Level 3, 4 and 5 engineering apprenticeships with a strong emphasis on hands-on learning and real-world application.

You will guide learners through Engineering Design, Maths, Mechanical Principles, Fluid Mechanics/Thermodynamics, Electrical & Electronic Principles, and Automation, Robotics, PLCs, working mainly in the classroom.

Qualifications

• A degree in engineering or a related field is essential.
• Significant industry experience is desired.
• Strong technical and IT abilities are required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are important.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, hands-on learning experiences to apprentices and adult learners.
• Guide learners through topics including Engineering Design, Maths, Mechanical Principles and Fluid Mechanics/Thermodynamics.
• Cover Electrical & Electronic Principles and Automation, Robotics & PLCs, plus Production Engineering and Quality & Process Improvements.
