Job summary

Travail Employment Group is seeking an Electrically biased Maintenance Team Leader in Goole (DN14). You will lead a small engineering team while remaining hands-on with maintenance, fault finding and continuous improvement activities.

This is a senior maintenance role with a stable days-based schedule (Mon-Thu 8am-4:30pm, Fri 2pm finish) and no weekend work, offering up to £50,000 DOE in a growing manufacturer.

Qualifications

• Electrical maintenance background in manufacturing.
• Full understanding of 18th Edition wiring regulations.
• Ability to diagnose electrical faults in industrial equipment.
• Experience with conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Proficient with maintenance management systems and records.
• Commitment to safety, reliability and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and supervise a small engineering team.
• Manage and develop the Preventive Planned Maintenance (PPM) programme.
• Prioritise maintenance activities and co-ordinate engineering resources.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
• Drive continuous improvement to improve equipment performance.
• Support production with engineering solutions.
• Maintain compliance, documentation and safety standards.
• Assist with contractor management and site improvements.

Join a well-established manufacturing business as the Electrical Maintenance Team Leader, leading a small engineering team while remaining hands-on with maintenance, fault finding and continuous improvement activities. Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support a small team of one mechanically biased and one newly qualified engineer.
• Manage and develop the Preventative Planned Maintenance (PPM) programme.

Requirements

Essential

• Electrical maintenance background in manufacturing
• 18th Edition (or willingness to update)
• Experience working with electrically controlled equipment.
• Knowledge of conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Ability to diagnose faults and resolve electrical failures.Computer literate with the ability to use maintenance management systems and maintenance records.
• Positive attitude with a commitment to safety, reliability and continuous improvement.
• Some leadership or supervisory experience
