Job summary

ETS Consulting Ltd in Boston is seeking an Engineering Team Leader to manage and develop the maintenance team, ensuring reliable production equipment and strict safety standards.

You will lead planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of machinery, coordinate with production to optimise performance, and drive improvement projects while maintaining accurate records. The role includes a 4 on 4 off shift pattern with a competitive pension and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained engineer in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Understanding of PPM systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of machinery and systems, including automated, network-linked equipment, ovens, extruders and conveyors.
• Work collaboratively with production teams to optimise equipment performance.
• Contribute to improvement projects as part of ongoing facility investments.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

The Company have been established over 35 years, and is a truly British manufacturer, and is one of the largest specialist food processors in the UK of its kind. They are looking to expand their engineering team once again due to increased growth in their market share.

The Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will use your engineering knowledge and skills as a team in the upkeep and improvement of this factory, its amenities, and its production equipment.

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of machinery and systems. Including: Automated, network-linked milling, process, and packing equipment, Gas fired ovens, Mill equipment designed to grind, sieve, store and handle ingredients, Extruders and mixers, Conveying systems with associated motors and drive systems, QR coded CMMS system, Forklift trucks, cherry picker & scissor lift, Lighting & electrical supplies, Steam boiler with associated pipework and valves, Hydraulics and pneumatics, Site amenities. Diagnose and troubleshoot breakdowns, minimising downtime and ensuring quick resolution.
• Work collaboratively with production teams to optimise equipment performance.
• Contribute to improvement projects as part of our ongoing investment in the facility.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with health & safety standards.
