Job summary

ETS Consulting Ltd. is seeking an Engineering Team Leader for a high-speed FMCG plant in Bilston. You will manage and develop a team of engineers, coordinating planned and preventive maintenance to keep production lines running efficiently.

You will collaborate with production, operations and technical teams to drive continuous improvement, while ensuring GMP and HACCP standards and budget alignment.

Qualifications

• Qualified engineer in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Proven Engineering/Maintenance Supervisory Experience.
• Understanding of PPM Systems Within Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers onsite and oversee maintenance schedules.

Engineering Team Leader - FMCG Manufacturing

Location: Bilston

Shift: 4 on 4 off (2 days / 2 nights)

Salary: £50,000 to £52,000 + Pension + Benefits

The Company

Based within one of the UK’s leading food manufacturing companies our client is a highly profitable and robust company, with over 30 years of manufacturing experience. They are looking to further strengthen their maintenance team, with the addition of an electrical biased installations engineer.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing and leading a team of engineers onsite and have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules, managing projects and working with equipment such as packaging, filling, conveyors and processing machinery within a high speed automated environment. Working closely with production, operations & technical to improve standards and manufacturing efficiencies. You will be responsible for the training & development of the engineering team and demonstrate knowledge of continuous improvement, PPM systems, reactive maintenance, and budgetary control. In addition to this you will have knowledge and experience of GMP & HACCP standards as well as managing a team of multi skilled engineers and therefore ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of this high speed manufacturing plant.
