Pioneer Selection Ltd in Wrexham is seeking an Engineering Team Leader to manage a busy maintenance team in a fast-moving FMCG environment. The role combines hands-on engineering with people leadership to keep production lines running safely and efficiently.

You will coordinate planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, supervise PLC issues, and drive equipment reliability improvements.

Engineering Team Leader

Location: Wrexham

Salary: Up to £54,000

Shift: 4 on 4 off – 2 Days / 2 Nights (6am–6pm / 6pm–6am)

Job Role of the Engineering Team Leader A well-established FMCG manufacturer in Wrexham is looking for an experienced Engineering Team Leader to join its engineering department. This is a hands-on leadership position within a busy production environment, overseeing a team of Maintenance Engineers and ensuring machinery and equipment operate safely and efficiently. You'll be responsible for coordinating planned and reactive maintenance, supporting complex breakdowns and driving improvements in equipment reliability. Alongside day-to-day engineering activities, you'll play a key role in developing the team, maintaining engineering standards and working closely with production to minimise downtime.
