Job summary

ETS Consulting is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join a high-speed FMCG production environment in Stoke-on-Trent. The role requires hands-on maintenance of automated production lines, with a focus on fault finding and preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.

Candidates with an apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering and PLC experience will be favored. The position offers 4 on 4 off Continental shifts, days and nights, and a secure career pathway within a long-established

Qualifications

• You have completed a full electrical or mechanical apprenticeship.
• Experience with planned and preventative maintenance schedules in a high-speed automated environment.
• Experience with PLC controlled equipment is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnose faults and implement effective repair solutions.
• Support improvement projects within a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The CompanyBased within one of the UK's leading FMCG manufacturing groups my client is looking to recruit an experienced maintenance engineer to add to their existing team. The company is extremely secure having been established for over 200 years and currently being listed the London Stock Exchange , they are second to none in their chosen area of manufacturing expertise.

Key Skills

• Apprentice Trained Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Automated of PLC systems & Automated machinery
• Understanding of PPM Systems

You will have served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering and have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules, project based work within a high speed automated environment. The ideal candidate will also ideally, but not essential, have experience of PLC controlled equipment and the ability to work within a team or autonomously as required. You will also have a strong multi-skilled background with the ability to fault find on a variety of production equipment.
