Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear, part of Babcock International Group, seeks a Professional Development Lead at its Warrington site. The role shapes early careers across engineering, project management and technical disciplines, aligning with competency frameworks and professional accreditation.

You will lead talent development, coach teams toward professional registration, and partner with leaders to create meaningful development opportunities within national programmes.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Project Management, Business Management or related field.
• Incorporated/Chartered Engineer status or the ability to obtain registration within 6 months.
• Experience coaching, mentoring or managing talent in engineering or project environments.
• Knowledge of competency frameworks and career development pathways.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support emerging talent across engineering, project management and technical disciplines.
• Coach and mentor individuals toward professional registration and career progression.
• Collaborate with placement managers and business leaders to secure development opportunities.
• Monitor development performance and implement interventions to achieve outcomes.
