Job summary

Safran is seeking an Enginering Talent Acquisition Specialist to support UK sites from Pitstone, Gloucester, Wolverhampton or Cwmbran. This hybrid role requires on-site presence at least one day per week.

You will lead end-to-end recruitment for engineering, technical and R&D roles, building strong pipelines and partnering with managers across the business. You will champion candidate experience, use data to optimize hiring, and ensure ATS data quality while adhering to equal opportunity

Responsibilities

• Build talent pipelines via targeted sourcing and employer branding.
• Act as SME for recruitment, providing market insights and improvements.
• Ensure data accuracy in ATS for requisitions, reporting and comms.

Your Role

Our Talent Acquisition Specialists are responsible for delivering strategic, high-quality hiring solutions that build exceptional teams and strengthen Safran's position as an employer of choice. Focused on specific job families, Talent Acquisition Specialists support all Safran businesses in the UK and are positioned as experts in their designated job family.

By partnering with business leaders, optimizing recruitment processes, and championing candidate experience, these roles ensure Safran attracts, engages, and retains top talent to fuel innovation and growth across all UK sites.

This is a hybrid role and the successful candidate will have a fixed base at one of our Pitstone/ Gloucester/ Wolverhampton / Cwmbran facilities, with an on-site requirement of at least one day per week.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process for approximately 50 hires per year, ensuring smooth coordination, timely communication, and a positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers
• Manage the full recruitment process from vacancy approval through to offer and onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and agree recruitment plans.
• Build strong talent pipelines through targeted sourcing, networking, and employer branding initiatives
• Act as a subject matter expert for recruitment within your perimeter, providing insights on market trends, sourcing strategies, and candidate experience enhancements
• Ensure quality and accuracy of data in our ATS for requisitions, reporting, and candidate communications

• Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment within an agency or in-house setting across Engineering, Technical and Research and Development roles
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and influence hiring decisions at all levels.
• Efficient, with great organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple vacancies, projects, and priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, with a proactive, transparent and solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
• Ability to use recruitment data and market insights to improve hiring outcomes and optimise processes.
