RG Setsquare is seeking an Engineering Supervisor for an in-house data centre near Liverpool Street in London. The role leads the Technical Operations team, ensuring safe, reliable operation of electrical and mechanical infrastructure, while driving service excellence.

The candidate will manage daily operations, oversee maintenance, coordinate contractors, and drive incident response with a focus on safety and performance metrics. A senior engineer with mission-critical experience is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a data centre or other mission-critical environment.
• Recognised electrical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent).
• HV Authorised Person experience is advantageous.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proactive approach with a passion for operational excellence.

Salary: Up to £70,000 Basic Salary + 10% Annual Bonus

Working Hours: Monday to Friday | 40 Hours Per Week

Lead Critical Operations in a World-Class Data Centre

We're recruiting on behalf of a leading global data centre operator for an experienced Engineering Supervisor to join their Technical Operations team at their London facility near Liverpool Street.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior engineering professional with data centre or mission-critical experience looking to progress their career with a direct employer that genuinely invests in its people, training and long-term development.

Working Monday to Friday, you'll lead the on-site engineering team, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure while driving service excellence across the facility.

The Role

• Managing the day-to-day activities of the Technical Operations team.

What We're Looking For

• Experience within a data centre or other mission-critical environment.
• Strong knowledge of critical electrical and mechanical building services.
• Experience working with UPS systems, generators, switchgear and cooling systems.
• Recognised Electrical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent).
• HV Authorised Person experience is advantageous.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• A proactive approach with a passion for operational excellence.
