Job summary

THE COLLECTIVE NETWORK LIMITED in Spalding is seeking an experienced Engineering Supervisor to lead a high-volume site. You will oversee Team Leaders and act as a key link between the team and the Engineering Manager.

• 3+ years' supervisory/management experience.
• Experience with CMMS, maintenance planning and compliance.
• Manufacturing experience is essential.
• Experience managing and developing engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the engineering team.
• Drive effective CMMS use for PPM, work orders and parts control.
• Improve maintenance planning and shift handovers.
• Manage 1-to-1s, performance and team development.
• Mentor apprentices and support Team Leaders.
• Oversee risk assessments, method statements and SOPs.
• Drive accountability and engineering standards across the site.

Want to move away from shift-based engineering and into a genuine leadership role?

I'm recruiting for an experienced Engineering Supervisor to join a high-volume manufacturing site in Spalding. You'd be looking after Team Leaders and be a pivotal member between the team and Manager.

This is a 90% management / 10% hands-on position, focused on improving maintenance planning, team performance and engineering standards.

The Role

• Lead and develop the engineering team
• Drive effective use of the CMMS for PPM, work orders and parts control
• Improve maintenance planning and shift handovers
• Manage 1-to-1s, performance and team development
• Mentor apprentices and support Team Leaders
• Oversee Risk Assessments, Method Statements and SOPs
• Drive accountability, compliance and engineering standards
• Work closely with Production to improve reliability and reduce downtime

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years' supervisory / management experience
• Mechanical or Electrical engineering qualification
• Manufacturing experience essential
• Food/FMCG experience preferred, not essential
• Experience managing and developing engineering teams
• Confident with CMMS, maintenance planning and compliance
• Strong communicator with a structured, proactive approach
