Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Contract Supervisor to oversee first-line supervision in a regional engineering area, including client liaison, site safety, and technical support to the helpdesk.

You will manage timesheet reviews, training on FSI Go, and audits of site paperwork and sub-contractor work. The role demands 2+ years post-apprenticeship experience in mechanical, electrical or fabric trades, a driving licence, and CSCS, IPAF/PASMA, and security clearance.

Qualifications

• Security clearance to NPPV Level 2 is required or obtainable.
• CSCS Skills card holder required.
• PASMA/IPAF qualification holder preferred.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• Time served engineer with 2+ years post-apprenticeship experience in mechanical, electrical, or building fabric.

Responsibilities

• Complete weekly timesheet reviews and validate paperwork.
• Be super user of handhelds; train engineers on FSI Go.
• Review engineer and sub-contractor paperwork; identify additional work.
• Audit site logbooks and inspections of tools, equipment and vehicles.
• Support helpdesk with technical queries on reactive jobs and planning.
• Attend site FM meetings and report on M&E and Fabric issues.
• Provide surveys, measurements and estimates accurately.
• Deputise for Regional Manager when required.
• Undertake PPM, proactive and reactive works within set time frames.
• Provide emergency callout response and participate in rota.
• Monitor contractors to ensure standards.
• Ensure equipment and area conform to company standards.
• Provide professional service and liaise with clients.
• Proactively relay concerns to management and understand contractual requirements.
• Work safely complying with H&S policy.

About The Role: The role of Contract Supervisor will have responsibilityfor the provision of first line supervision within a regional engineering area,this includes but not limited to engineering team supervision, client liaisonand meeting attendance, and technical support to the helpdesk

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• To complete weekly timesheet reviews and validate technical paperwork and statutory documentation.
• Be the appointed super user of handhelds, providing training and development to engineers in the proper use of FSI Go.
• Complete regular review of engineer and sub-contractor paperwork, identifying additional work opportunities and reactive repairs required from maintenance inspections.
• To complete audits of site logbooks, engineers and sub-contractor activities and ensure all tools, equipment and vehicle inspections are undertaken.
• To support the helpdesk with technical queries on reactive jobs, and support in monthly maintenance planning of core engineering PPM work.
• To attend where required regular site FM Meetings and provide quality updates on ongoing issues or challenges involving any aspect of M&E and Fabric services.

• To deputize for the Regional Manager for any specific duties requested.
• To undertake PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are met.
• To provide emergency callout response for the client as required and work as part of a call out Rota.
• To undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met.
• To ensure equipment and surrounding area conform to agreed company standards.
• To provide a professional service and represent the company in a way which ensures customer satisfaction.
• To take a pro-active approach to client liaison and ensure that concerns are dealt with or relayed to management as necessary.
• To be fully aware of contractual requirements and customer needs at all times.
• Working in a safe manner at all times, complying with current Health & Safety legislation and Company H&S policy

Qualifications:

• Has/or can obtain security clearance to NPPV Level 2 level.
• CSCS Skills card.
• PASMA/IPAF qualification
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Time Served Engineer in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Fabric type trade with at least 2 years full post apprenticeship experience.
