Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a proactive maintenance technician to conduct preventative maintenance and fault diagnosis on critical plant and equipment Monday to Friday, 07:45 - 16:30. You will support subcontractors during planned, reactive or project tasks while ensuring safety procedures and site rules are followed.

Additionally, you will monitor BMS/SCADA systems, perform daily site checks, log defects and ensure SLA timeframes are met.

• Conduct and record preventative maintenance and fault diagnosis of critical plant and equipment.
• Support subcontractors/vendors during planned, reactive or project tasks while ensuring safety procedures.
• Monitor, maintain, investigate and acknowledge the BMS and SCADA systems.
• Undertake daily site checks to note and repair defects and keep plant rooms clean and safe.
• Rectify and record defects through the helpdesk to meet SLA timeframes.
• Provide rapid and effective response to customer and helpdesk requirements.
• Review subcontractor competencies before work permits are issued.
• Ensure compliance and escalate issues affecting safety, health, security or availability.
• Adhere to company policies and provide improvements to processes and systems.
• Support cross-functional teams within a critical environment team.

About The Role

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 07:45 - 16:30

• Conduct and record preventative maintenance and fault diagnosis of critical plant and equipment.
• Support and facilitate specialist subcontractors/vendors during planned, reactive or project tasks while ensuring they conform to the site procedures and agreed safety documentation.
• Monitor, maintain, investigate and acknowledge the BMS and SCADA systems.
• Undertake daily site checks to note and proactively repair any defects and to maintain plant rooms in a clean, tidy and safe condition.
• Rectify and record defects through the helpdesk to ensure SLA timeframes are always met.
• Provide rapid and effective response to customer and helpdesk requirements.
• Review subcontractor competencies before work permits are authorized
• Ensure compliance and elevate any issues that affect the availability, health and safety and security of the site.
• Adhere to all current company and Critical Engineering Management policies.
• Provide innovative solutions and recommendations to improve processes, building, plant and systems.
• Support cross functions within a critical environment team.
