Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a maintenance technician to deliver planned and reactive maintenance across M&E and building fabric systems on a Monday–Friday schedule. You will support the client with contractor oversight, safety compliance, and timely service delivery.

The role requires NVQ in Electrical/Mechanical/Building Services, a valid driving licence, and IT literacy to manage service records and safety documentation. ACSCS card and First Aid knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK.
• Current, valid driving licence.
• NVQ or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services with proven maintenance experience.
• Understanding and developing safety documentation to ensure site safety procedures are followed.
• CSCS Skills card or equivalent qualification.
• Understanding of First Aid.
• IT literate with basic Excel & Microsoft products.

Responsibilities

• Complete service sheets and update site compliance logbooks.
• Undertake contractor control duties including monitoring of workmanship and compliance.
• Support the site supervisor with integrated delivery of all contracted services within time, budget and quality targets.
• Provide callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota.

About The Role

Days of Working: Monday to Friday 0800-1630

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver planned and reactive maintenance across M&E and building fabric systems
• Ensure all delegated reactive works orders and PPMs are completed within the contract-defined time SLAs & KPIs.
• Provide a significant contribution to overall efficiency, effectiveness and contract profitability and must, therefore, play its part in the overall delivery of service.
• To complete service sheets and update site compliance logbooks accordingly
• To undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met.
• Support the site supervisor with the implementation of an integrated approach for the delivery of all contracted services ensuring that all works are delivered, safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
• Provide a callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota

Essential Hiring Criteria
