Job summary

SSE is offering a 12-week Engineering Summer Placement across Scotland and Northern England. Commencing June 2027, base locations include Aberdeen, Glasgow, Inverness, Leeds and Perth.

Salary is £26,239 per annum plus benefits, and the placement is full-time on a fixed-term contract. You’ll work with experienced engineers on real projects, gaining insight into design, analysis, delivery and maintenance of critical infrastructure, while applying university learning.

Qualifications

• You will be in your second or third year and pursuing a degree in one of the listed engineering disciplines.
• You are intending to return to university after your placement.
• Discipline options vary by location (Aberdeen, Glasgow, Inverness, Leeds, Perth).
