Job summary

Dunbia is seeking an Engineering Stores/Tool Setter to join its engineering and maintenance team at a meat processing plant. The role involves managing engineering stores, stocking and recording parts, and supporting both planned and reactive maintenance.

You will assist with the set-up and dismantling of mincing and grinding machines, and install/adjust tools and dies. Experience in a food manufacturing or regulated environment is desirable; full training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering, maintenance, manufacturing or technical stores environments.
• Ability to use computerised stock or maintenance systems accurately.
• Strong attention to detail with disciplined record keeping.
• Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, managers, suppliers and contractors.
• Ability to plan and prioritise work and respond to urgent operational requirements.
• Good verbal and written English.
• Knowledge of engineering components, fabrication materials, tools and consumables.
• Experience supporting planned preventive maintenance and contractor activities.
• Food manufacturing or similarly regulated environment experience is desirable but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering stores and ensure engineering parts, tools and consumables are available, controlled and recorded.
• Support maintenance through stock management, ordering, issue control and administration.
• Provide hands-on support with set-up and dismantling of mincing and grinding machines for cleaning, including installation and adjustment of tools and dies.
