Job summary

UNAVAILABLE is recruiting for an Engineering Stores/ Tool Setter to join our production team in a meat processing facility. You will manage engineering stores, ensure availability and accurate recording of parts, tools and consumables, and support maintenance activities in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves hands-on support with machine set-up/dismantling and strict adherence to stock control procedures. We value attention to detail and clear communication with engineers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering, maintenance, manufacturing or technical stores.
• Proficient with stock or maintenance systems.
• Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping skills.
• Able to communicate with engineers, managers, suppliers and contractors.
• Good verbal and written English.
• Knowledge of engineering components, fabrication materials, tools and consumables.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering stores, stock and issue control.
• Support maintenance with planning and scheduling.
• Assist with set-up and dismantling of mincing and grinding machines and tools.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
