Job summary

Warburtons in the United Kingdom is seeking a well-organised Stores Administrator to support our engineering stores and admin functions. You’ll coordinate parts, update records in Excel, and help keep our engineers supplied and productive.

You’ll work with suppliers, track stock, and generate weekly KPI and spend reports while maintaining meticulous records and safeguarding budgets. A proactive, detail‑oriented mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a stores coordinator or administration role.
• Excellent organisation and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent numeracy and strong written and verbal communication.
• Discretion and ability to work flexibly to support the business.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate the activity within Engineering admin to maintain and improve customer service.
• Coordinate work allocation and ensure holiday/sickness cover through cross-skilling.
• Manage Engineering spend via accurate administration and liaise to prevent SAP issues.
• Ensure Engineering stores parts are identified and located correctly.
• Handle items requiring outside refurbishment appropriately.
• Provide weekly KPI, spend reports and Ad Hoc reports on request.
• Attend meetings to generate action plans and support related teams.
• Support Hygiene and Production departments on IT systems.
• Liaise with Engineering team to ensure proper admin/store procedures.
