Job summary

Stirling Warrington Limited in Leicester is seeking a Stores Coordinator to manage engineering stores, stock and parts within a busy food manufacturing business.

You will organise stock, raise POs, liaise with suppliers and engineering teams, and drive improvements in stock control while maintaining accurate records. The role suits hands-on, organised individuals who take ownership and can optimise existing processes.

Hours are 8am-5pm, with salary up to £36,000 DOE.

Qualifications

• Engineering background, ideally in manufacturing, FMCG or maintenance.
• Experience in stores, stock control or parts coordination.
• Knowledge of engineering parts and components.
• Experience ordering parts and raising purchase orders.
• Good organisational and administration skills.
• A proactive approach and the ability to take ownership of the stores.

Initally a 3 month contract with potential to go permanent for right person.

We are currently recruiting for a Stores Coordinator to join a busy food manufacturing business.

This is a great opportunity for someone with an engineering background who is organised, hands‑on and confident managing engineering parts and stock.

The stores currently needs some organisation, so we are looking for someone who can take ownership, get things in order and improve the way the stores is managed.
