Job summary

Anglian Water is seeking an Engineering Standards & Governance Lead to shape maintenance standards across Bioresources assets, including CHP, gas, SRP and sludge treatment. You will partner with engineers, technicians and suppliers to ensure safe, risk-based and regulator-aligned performance.

This is a senior, influence-led role requiring governance, strategic thinking and stakeholder engagement to deliver practical engineering standards and robust assurance across operations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering maintenance standards and governance.
• Ability to translate complex technical requirements into practical standards.
• Strong knowledge of asset reliability, risk, process safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop engineering maintenance standards for Bioresources assets.
• Translate technical requirements into practical standards and procedures.
• Embed standards into maintenance plans, procedures and asset-care activities.
• Provide governance, identify risks, variances and improvement opportunities.
• Define and maintain competency and authorisation requirements.
