Anglian Water is seeking an Engineering Standards & Governance Lead to set auditable maintenance frameworks across Bioresources assets, ensuring safe, compliant and robust operations. You will collaborate with engineers, technicians and partners to translate complex requirements into practical standards and working procedures.

The role emphasizes technical governance, competency management and ongoing improvement, with hybrid working and a flexible approach to in-office time.

Qualifications

• You will lead engineering maintenance standards for Bioresources assets.
• You will apply risk-based thinking to ensure standards are practical and robust.
• You will ensure compliance with regulatory and process safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop engineering maintenance standards across CHP, gas, SRP and sludge treatment.
• Embed standards into maintenance plans, procedures and asset-care activities.
• Provide governance, identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Define competency and authorisation requirements for skilled personnel.
• Shape future capability with new tech, digital and predictive maintenance.
