Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an Engineering Shift Manager for a diverse role within a leading UK facilities management contractor. The role focuses on delivering planned and reactive FM maintenance across on-site mechanical and electrical systems, with emphasis on safety and performance metrics.

The candidate will oversee BMS/Schneider systems, manage subcontractors, and ensure RAMS compliance while maintaining high KPI/SLA standards.

Qualifications

• C&G/NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation certification.
• C&G 2391 electrical test and inspection certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all mechanical and electrical systems on site.
• Manage BMS systems, HV SCADA, Schneider and lighting systems.
• Supervise subcontractors, approve RAMS and sanction isolation as needed.
• Review PPM work and manage KPIs and SLAs.
• Perform operational/maintenance tasks as directed while ensuring safety.

As the Engineering Shift Manager, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.

The Engineering Shift Manager, will be responsible for:

• Manage and oversee all Mechanical and Electrical systems on site.
• Manage the BMS systems, HV SCADA, Schneider and lighting systems.
• Oversee the permittance of subcontractors, approve RAMS and issue sanctions to isolate.
• Check all PPM work and manage KPIs and SLAs.
• Carry out operational and maintenance activities as directed by the Senior Operations Manager, ensuring all work is completed in a safe and suitable manner.

To be successful for this Engineering Shift Manager role you must have:

• C&G/NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation.
• C&G 2391.
• Experience in maintenance.
• SSoW permitting experience.
• Familiarity with Schneider BMS.
• HV Authorised.
• CDM experience
