Greencore is one of the UK’s leading creators of convenience food, employing over 28,000 colleagues across 36 sites. Our Kiveton site, the UK’s largest quiche bakery, produces millions of quiche and ready meals each year.

We are hiring an Engineering Team Leader for a 4 on/4 off day and night shift to guide a team of engineers, plan load, execute preventative maintenance, ensure GMP and safety, manage CMMS records, and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Engineering apprenticeship completed or equivalent with Level 3 qualification.
• Experience supervising engineering teams in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of risk assessments, permit systems and method statements.

Responsibilities

• Head the engineering shift team to build a high-performing culture.
• Plan and prioritise workload to maximise machine uptime.
• Execute preventative maintenance to meet targets.
• Ensure compliance with safety, GMP and food safety rules.
• Maintain accurate shift documentation and reports.
• Lead root-cause analyses and daily meetings.
