Job summary

Dalkia UK is seeking an Engineering Services Manager to lead technical operations across the Imperial College London contract. This hands-on leadership role combines engineering expertise, diagnostics and operational management to support supervisors and technicians across multiple sites.

You will oversee planned and reactive maintenance, manage escalations and drive safety, compliance and service improvements in laboratory and healthcare environments, delivering safe, well-maintained learning

Qualifications

• Strong technical operations background with experience in steam, HVAC, LEV and LV systems.
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical and controls disciplines.
• Proven leadership, judgment and ability to influence across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead supervisors and technicians across multiple sites with coaching and development.
• Oversee planned maintenance, reactive repairs and RAMS compliance.
• Act as main contact for technical escalations; perform root-cause analysis and reports.
• Maintain relationships with clients, delivery teams and third-party stakeholders.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and review RAMS, maintenance records and compliance docs.
• Identify remedial works, develop options and quotations for client value.
