Job summary

i2i Recruitment Consultancy is seeking a technically-minded sales specialist to join a friendly team in the UK. You’ll handle sales, customer service and technical support, communicating with Account Managers and engineering teams to grow a diverse client base.

The role involves preparing quotes, managing enquiries, and nurturing opportunities across CRM tools, with training provided on products and systems to develop your commercial and technical knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience in a technical sales or similar role.
• Technical qualification such as ONC, HNC or HND would be beneficial.
• Confident communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong organisation and time management.
• Good commercial awareness and a proactive approach.
• Confident using Microsoft Office and SAP.
• Good attention to detail and administration skills.
• Knowledge of technical products and applications.
• Experience using CRM systems.
• Experience supporting Account Managers or Key Account Managers.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales, customer service and day-to-day activity across your area.
• Deal with customer enquiries by phone and email.
• Prepare and follow up quotes and orders.
• Support Account Managers with customers and sales opportunities.
• Deal with customer issues and complaints.
• Identify new sales opportunities and help grow existing business.
• Promote products and services.
• Work with technical, engineering and commercial teams.
• Keep CRM records and customer information up to date.
• Attend customer visits, exhibitions and product presentations when required.
• Provide technical and commercial support to customers and colleagues.
• Manage quotations within your level of authority.
