Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an Engineering and Project Manager in Newcastle to lead the site engineering function and manage a portfolio of CAPEX projects that will enhance reliability and efficiency.

You will steer cross-functional collaboration with Operations and other departments to identify opportunities for improvements and investment while developing a proactive maintenance culture and a robust engineering strategy for sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering teams in FMCG/manufacturing.
• Proven track record delivering engineering or CAPEX projects.
• Strong understanding of maintenance, reliability and manufacturing engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the engineering team to drive performance.
• Deliver engineering and CAPEX projects from concept to implementation.
• Drive improvements in equipment reliability, efficiency and site performance.
• Develop proactive maintenance and continuous improvement strategies.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and enhance processes.
• Collaborate with Production, Operations and other departments.
• Contribute to the longer-term engineering strategy and investment roadmap.
