Pioneer Selection in Accrington, Lancashire is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the site engineering function. You will oversee maintenance, drive reliability improvements and take ownership of industrial projects, budgets and CAPEX from planning through delivery.

The successful candidate will have a strong engineering background, UK experience, and a proven ability to develop and inspire an engineering team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Engineering management or senior engineering leadership experience within a manufacturing background.
• Experience leading and developing an engineering team.
• Strong engineering and technical background.
• Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical).
• Experience with CAPEX projects and machinery upgrades.
• Experience with CMMS and improving preventative maintenance strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the site engineering team to deliver reliable performance.
• Oversee planned and reactive maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Drive improvements in plant reliability and efficiency.
• Own engineering budgets and CAPEX projects from planning through delivery.
• Manage machinery upgrades and site improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with production and senior management to optimise equipment and processes.
