Job summary

Salt Separation Services is seeking a Project Manager to lead multiple engineering projects from initiation to completion at our Rochdale site. You will develop detailed plans, manage budgets and resources, and ensure delivery against QCD objectives.

Reporting to the Projects Director, you will coordinate internal teams and external suppliers, maintain Epicor ERP reporting and ensure compliance with quality standards. A background in manufacturing or water-treatment projects is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering engineering, manufacturing or technical projects.
• Strong planning, scheduling and organisational skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong commercial awareness incl. budget management and cost control.
• Experience identifying and managing project risks and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of multiple engineering projects from initiation to completion.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules and resource allocations.
• Manage project budgets, forecasting, margins and overall financial performance.
• Review and interpret contractual requirements to ensure project compliance.
• Identify, assess and manage project risks and opportunities.
• Coordinate internal departments and external suppliers to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Manage project information and reporting through Epicor ERP.
• Monitor project performance against quality, cost and delivery objectives.
• Lead project review meetings and ensure actions are completed effectively.
• Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Proactively manage scope changes and resolve project issues as they arise.
• Ensure compliance with company processes, quality standards and project governance requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance project delivery performance.
• Contribute to development of project management best practice across the business.
• Coach and support Project Engineers and developing team members as the function grows.
